Cat Bird Pictures was founded in 2007 and is helmed by filmmaker/ video designer Kaz Phillips. The company, based in Brooklyn, NY makes strange/beautiful films and documentaries, and creates video and livefeed installations for theatrical productions and other spectacles. Kaz is a 2009-2010 Fellow with the American Film Institute's prestigious Directing Workshop for Women where she developed and directed the original HD short, Megafauna. Kaz has worked on projects in Europe, West Africa, and across the United States.
